Merry Christmas Everyone! TAD Gear’s popular Ranger Hoodie is now in its fifth iteration. With the Ranger Hoodie v5, TAD Gear continues to refine one of their most popular and recognized garments. The Ranger Hoodie is still the tactical fleece jacket with the most standard features I’ve seen.
Another new item from the LEAF (Law Enforcement and Armed Forces) division of Arc’Teryx is the Alpha LT Jacket. The Gore-Tex Pro Shell Alpha LT isn’t simply a lighter version of the Alpha, but more of a very advanced, light weight, Alpine wind shirt that’s designed to provide full weather protection in a very packable garment. It was adapted from the civilian line Alpha LT with a change of colour (Crocodile) for the LEAF line, and abounds with high-tech construction features.
The ITS Tactical Blow Out Kit (BOK) from ITS Tactical was developed by an 18D Corpsman and combines the best items to treat the three leading preventable causes of death in the field (Extremity Hemorrhage, 60%, Tension Pneumothorax, 33%, and Airway Obstruction, 6%) in a vacuum sealed bag. The kit follows TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) Guidelines which are developed by USSOCOM to train non-medics to deal with the preventable causes of combat deaths.

The M-Harness can be considered as a special version of the X-Belt PS with a integrated Class II climbing harness with removable leg straps that can be donned or doffed without having to unbuckle, disturb or remove the load-bearing combat belt.
