Finally! Here is the production version in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) with the colour-matched rubber buttpad. The side battery compartments will fit four CR123 or three AA batteries. The overmolded rubber seal on the clubfoot compartment trapdoor is easily visible here. In the far left photo of the components, you can see the new reinforcement around the latch pin. There is a small metal plate that distributes the load over a wider area in case of butt strikes.
